considering acoustic fields as a medium relating bodies and space in a dynamic way, pierre-laurent cassiere mainly works on sound installations. Dealing with perception limits and collective situations his experiments usually propose unusual listening manners and often need very peculiar attention to be noticed or heard.

born in france in 1982, he studied fine arts at villa arson, nice, france, iceland academy of the arts, reykjavik, and khm, cologne, germany. in 2006 he graduated for a MA2 in research on relationship between sound art and sociology at brussels and liege universities, belgium. member of the french art group diligence, he lives and work between nice and berlin.
